About Default Folders

Introduction

The following list identifies default folders, sorted by default active status.

Important!

  • When accessing Synapse from a 4.4.3 client, do not disable access to the Sessions folder. This is a folder used by the application internally and is necessary for comparisons and other activities.
  • When accessing Synapse from a 4.4.3 client, do not deactivate or restrict user/role security to the Sessions folder or System Reading Protocols folder. Synapse will not display study images when these folders are restricted.

Default Folders

  • Admin - Administration folders.
    • Anomalies by Type - All broken studies by type.
      • All Anomalous Studies - All broken studies.
      • Fixed Studies - Fixed anomalous studies, sorted by last modified date/time newest first.
      • Recent Anomalous Studies - Studies broken within the last seven days that still have not been fixed, sorted by last modified date/time newest first.
    • Events - Information on all events logged.
      • All Events - Information on events logged during system operation.
        • All - All events recorded, unordered.
        • Last 24 Hours (no sort) – Events recorded in last 24 hours, not sorted.
      • Series Standard Request Events - Information on Requested Events.
        • All - All Series Standard events recorded, unordered.
        • Last 24 Hours (no sort) - Series Standard Events recorded in last 24 hours, not sorted.
      • Study Events - Information on Study related events logged during system operation.
        • All - All study events recorded, unordered.
        • Deletions (Image Version) - Image versions deleted in Version Deletion events, unsorted.
        • Deletions (Study) - Studies deleted in Study Deletion events, unsorted.
        • Last 24 Hours (no sort) - All study events recorded in last 24 hours.
    • Manage Content - Manage patients, studies, and removed items.
      • Manage Patients - Manage patients by removing older studies that do not need to be kept in the database. The Manage Patients folder includes a full list of patients. You can filter the display by patient name, patient ID, Gender, and birth date.
      • Manage Studies - Options in this folder let you filter the folder contents by the patient’s age today, age of the patient’s age when the study was performed, and age of the study (the difference between the patient’s age today and age when the study was performed).
      • Recent Removed Items - Items removed in the last seven days.
      • Removed Items - All removed items.
    • Merge and Reallocate - Patient, study, series and image merges and reallocations.
      • Image Reallocations - Studies whose images have been reassigned from one study to another, no sort.
      • Patient Merge - Patients merged with another patient, no sort.
      • Series Reallocation - Series reassigned from one study to another, no sort.
      • Study Merge - Studies merged with another study, no sort.
      • Study Reallocations - Studies reassigned from one patient to another, no sort.
    • Sessions - Information on user sessions.
      • Current Sessions - Information on currently connected sessions.
      • Recent Sessions - Information on sessions from the last seven days.
  • All Patients - Patients full list (no sort).
  • All Studies - Studies full list (no sort).
    • Open a patient folder to see subfolders.
      • Bookmarks - Contains images that are bookmarked.
      • Documentation - Document contained in the series.
      • Images - Images contained in the series.
      • Non Displayable Items - Items contained in the series that Synapse cannot display.
      • Reading Protocols - Reading protocols attached to the series.
      • Series - Series contained in the study.
