Anomaly Alerts

Introduction

If a study has an anomaly, Synapse displays a Synapse Anomaly Alert.

Synapse creates anomalies when discrepancies occur in the data that is sent to Synapse through the DICOM server. The most common discrepancies are mismatched patient ID, missing patient ID, or missing accession number. Incorrect data can cause errors in the Synapse Study Matching algorithms.
