Creating a New Series Folder

Introduction

Sometimes images are placed with the wrong patient series folder, and you might need to create a new series folder to add the images to. This typically can happen for US and NM modalities.

Prerequisites

You must have the Content Management privilege to access this tool through SWAT. Synapse logs all changes.

Steps

  1. Double-click the patient you want to add a new series folder for.
  2. Double-click the Series folder . Synapse displays a list of series folders.
  3. Click Add new folder . Synapse displays a dialog box.
  4. Enter a series name that meets your site requirements.
  5. Click Yes.
