Managing Study Priorities in Global Worklists

Introduction

Within any Global Worklist, the Priority column displays the priority that corresponds to the study's datasource. The Source column displays the datasource for the study.

Viewing and Sorting Study Priorities

Note that any Priority color coding coloring is only applicable to your home datasource. All other datasources do not display priority color coding.

Priority sorting functions differently in Global Worklists.

  • Click the Priority column heading to sort all priorities from all datasources. Priorities are sorted first by STAT and then alphabetically.
  • Click the Priority column heading again to sort priorities in reverse order, but with STAT priorities still at the top of the list.
  • Click a third time to turn off sorting.

Change the priority of a study in a Global datasource.

  • To change the priority of a study from a Global datasource, you must first log directly into the remote datasource. You cannot change a study priority that exists outside of your home datasource.

Note:

Because you cannot directly change study priorities for remote datasource studies, the STAT counts that display for Global Worklists include the sum of STAT studies across all configured datasources.
