Notes Overview

Introduction

Notes are designed for study-related communication among Synapse users. With appropriate permissions, you can add, edit, or delete notes. See your System Administrator for more information.

Note Information

Configure and use the Notes pane at the bottom of the page to display both current and comparison information. The left pane displays the current information and the right pane displays comparison information. You can double-click the title bar of either pane to display just that one pane in the entire bottom of PowerJacket. Double-click the title bar again to return to a two pane display.

Additional Information

  • Notes display in the Information pane of PowerJacket for each study.
  • Use the Notes feature to view or add relevant clinical data that can be seen and referred to without the need to issue a full study report.
  • Notes are saved in Synapse and display in reverse chronological order, with the most recent note at the top of the list.
  • Synapse creates a log each time you create, edit, or delete a note so those events can be tracked if needed.

Note:

Notes created prior to Synapse can only be viewed. You cannot add to, edit, or delete pre-existing notes.
