Previewing a Study

Introduction

There are many options available in the Worklist and PowerJacket that allow you to preview the contents of a study without opening it. Use the features described on this page to gather important information prior to viewing a study.

Location

The Snapshots icon indicates that the study contains saved display states.

Worklist and PowerJacket

Hover over the Reports icon to view the Report Impression if one exists for that report.

Hover over the Notes icon to see a list of up to 10 notes. Each line displays the note's author, the first 50 characters of text, and the creation time and date.

Hover over the Documents icon to see a list of up to 10 documents attached to the study.

The Lock icon indicates another user with dictation privileges has the unread study open.

AR Studies

The Lock icon indicates another user with Advanced Reporting (AR) privileges has the report locked.

Note: When you attempt to save an annotation for a locked AR study, or another user has saved an annotation (for that study) since you loaded the AR study, a message displays stating that Synapse did not save the annotation.

Worklist and PowerJacket

Click the View All Thumbnails icon to display the thumbnails for every study under each study row, so you can quickly determine whether you want to open the study to view more images and information.

The Bookmarks icon displays in the Bookmarks column to indicate that a study includes one or more bookmarks.
