Using the Vessel Diagram Properties Panel
Introduction
The properties panel displays all of the imported data or data that a user entered in the vessel diagram. The properties panel options depend on the type of vessel diagram. The properties panel data options for a vessel diagram are site configurable. See your System Administrator for more information.
When you add a diagram figure, such as a lesion, the properties panel opens the corresponding tab. By default, Synapse expands tabs if content is available. If no content exists, the tab is closed by default.

Updating Data in the Properties Panel
Introduction
You can update the properties of a diagram figure through the properties panel. If a vessel diagram contains multiple diagram figures, you can click the properties panel tabs to display the properties for a specific diagram figure.

You can update the Non-Invasive Vascular (NIV) segment measurements in the properties panel or in the Measurements tab. When you update the measurement in one location, Synapse automatically updates the measurement in both locations. |
Steps
- Click the diagram figure, such as a lesion, to view the properties panel for that diagram figure.
- Edit as necessary.
- Optional: Hover over a property option to view additional information.
Docking and Undocking the Properties Panel
Introduction
You can dock or undock the properties panel in your preferred position. By default, the properties panel is docked when you first open a study.
Steps
- Do one of the following:
- Click Dock
. - Click Undock
. - Move the properties panel to your preferred location.

Additional Information
Vessel diagram data is hierarchical. Vessel segments represent the highest level of data followed by aneurysms and lesions, treatments, attempts, and inventory. Both attempts and inventory apply to treatments.
Synapse stores all of the imported or entered data in the properties panel in the Synapse database, including data that might not be contained in the vessel diagram.
