Changing or Hiding Columns in XDS Consumer

Introduction

  • . You can hide columns from view until only one column remains.
    • If you choose to hide a column that you are using to sort search results, the sorting for that column turns off.
    • If other columns are selected for sorting within sorting for the hidden column, that sorting also turns off.
  • The column visibility, sorting, width, and position persist for the current session. With the exception of the Class Code column, filtering criteria does not persist. All persisted settings can be cleared.

Steps

  1. Do one of the following:
  2. If you want to do this ....

    Choose this option ....

    Drag and drop a column to a different location.

    • Click and hold the left mouse button.
    • Drag the column name to the preferred location.

    Change the column width.

    • Hover over the right side of the column divider until your cursor changes to a double headed arrow.
    • Click, hold, and drag the column divider to the preferred column width.

    Return all columns back to the default layout but leaves the search criteria.

    • Right-click a column. The context menu displays.
    • Select Reset layout.

    Resets the column layout and search criteria.

    • Right-click a column. The context menu displays.
    • Select Reset All.

    Hide a column.

    • Right-click a column. The context menu displays.
    • Select Hide column.

    Insert hidden columns.

    • Right-click a column. The context menu displays.
    • Select Insert column.
