Creating a Sequential Graft
Introduction
Use the graft tool to create one or more sequential grafts. Ensure that you only click on a vessel segment when you want to create an anastomosis point.
Note: |
You can add a sequential graft to an existing graft by clicking the anastomosis point with the graft tool. |
Steps
- Click
Graft
on the vessel diagram toolbar.
- Click the starting anastomosis for the graft on a
vessel segment.
A hollow point (gray outline with white center) indicates the first point of the graft. - Click the white space multiple times to define the path between the anastomosis sites of the sequential graft . Each click displays a red point.
- Click the anastomosis site on another vessel segment to end the first sequential graft and begin the second sequential graft.
- Click in the white space to define the path of the second sequential graft.
- Click the ending anastomosis site on another vessel segment to complete the second sequential graft.
- Repeat the process until you have created all the sequential grafts you want.
- Click the ending anastomosis point again to complete the graft.
- Optional Y graft: You can add a beginning anastomosis on an existing graft to create a Y graft.
- Optional: Click the graft or sequential graft to view or update the graft information in the Segment tab of the properties panel.
Results
Synapse displays the sequential graft on the vessel diagram.
Synapse assigns the sequential graft name for each graft segment in the Segment properties panel. See Graft Overview for more information.
