Detaching and Reattaching Grafts
Introduction
You can detach and reattach a graft to a different vessel segment, or you can attach the graft to another graft to create a Y graft. If you cannot attach the graft to the new location, Synapse displays a message and reattaches the graft to original location.

You cannot detach the origination anastomosis point of Y graft. |
Steps
- Select the graft that you want to detach.
- Click the anastomosis site that you want to detach.
- Drag the anastomosis to a different location.
- Release to attach the anastomosis to the new location.
Results
Synapse changes the graft name based on the vessel segment names for the beginning and ending anastomosis points. See Changing Graft Types for additional information.
