MPR Context Menu Options

Introduction

Synapse provides the following MPR/3D list and icon menu options listed here in alphabetical order.

The Cine Response column in the following table describes how cine interacts with each of the context menu options when using cine on a multiframe viewport:

  • Apply: This option is applied during cine.
  • Disabled during cine: This option is disabled during cine.
  • Pause, apply, and resume: Cine pauses before applying this option. When complete, cine resumes playing.
  • Stop cine: This option stops cine.

Cine Response

MPR/3D: Displays the MPR/3D submenu consisting of the following options:

MPR/3D:

3D on/off

Toggles between 2D and MPR view.

MPR/3D:

Axial

Changes the image plane to axial.

Disabled during cine

MPR/3D:

Coronal

Changes the image plane to coronal.

Disabled during cine

MPR/3D:

Cycle Orthogonal Plane

Cycles through the image planes.

Cycle Projection

Cycles through the projection mode options.

MPR/3D:

Fusion Registration

Aligns base and overlay series with or without the same FOR (Frame Of Reference).

Input Thickness

Opens the Slab Thickness dialog box.

MPR/3D:

MinIP

Displays the image plane rendered by the Minimum Intensity Projection (MinIP).

Disabled during cine

MPR/3D:

MIP

Displays the image plane rendered by the Maximum Intensity Projection (MIP).

MPR/3D:

MPR

Displays the image plane with no slab thickness, as rendered by Multiplanar Reconstruction (MPR).

MPR/3D:

MPVR

Displays the image plane averaged by Multiple Planar Volume Reconstruction (MPVR).

Disabled during cine

MPR/3D:

Open Synapse3D

Opens Synapse 3D from the Viewer. See Opening Synapse 3D Content from Viewer.

Quadrant View

Starts 3D quadrant view.

MPR/3D:

Sagittal

Changes the image plane to sagittal.

Tumbling

Enables the tumbling operation. See Using 3D Tumbling.
