Managing Mammography Studies

Introduction

You can align the height and centering of breast pairs with the Zoom to Breast Bounds option for an MG study. If you want Synapse to automatically Zoom to Breast Bounds when you open an MG study, see Configuring Series Settings.

Note:

If Synapse is unable to detect the breast borders, the Zoom to Breast Bounds option is not available. If the MG studies are from different datasources, the MG images might not be height aligned.

Steps

1. Right-click the image to display the image context menu.
2. Select Spatial Tools > Zoom to Breast Bounds.

Additional Options

Use any one of the following options for Zoom to Breast Bounds:

• Click Zoom to Breast Bounds on the icon menu.
• See Keyboard Shortcuts for MG.
