Keyboard Shortcuts for the Viewer and Worklist

Activates the arrow.

Shows or hides annotations.

Adds or removes a bookmark from an image.

Copies image to clipboard.

Copies image information to clipboard.

Activates the density value.

Activates elliptical ROI.

Activates Freehand ROI.

Creates a 3 point angle or a 4 point angle.

Actives the circle annotation.

Toggles the Locks Tool.

Activates 2 point ROI.

Activates Magnifying glass.

Actives spine label palette.

Activates the ruler.

Removes all unsaved annotations.

Resets certain changed image properties to original state. See Using Reset Image State.

Turns shutter on or off.

Shows or hides text overlays.

Starts/stops cine.

Activates the text.

Saves study annotations.

Saves the presentation state.

Note: If you do not have the Presentation privilege, this option is grayed out in the context menu.

Synchronizes multiple series if a series is not in the same anatomical plane as the other series. See Enabling IntelliScroll.

Disables the IntelliScroll option for all displayed series.

Toggles IntelliLink on or off.

Toggles IntelliLink on or off.

Links all series that have the same orientation.

Links and synchronizes series with the same image index number.

Links all series with the same Frame of Reference (FOR).

Cycles through the IntelliScroll options: none, auto link, delta link.

Toggles IntelliScroll on or off.

Changes the magnification factor.

Changes the window level.

Changes the size of the magnifying glass window.

Toggles between show or hide the MG CAD findings.

Zooms images to breast borders and aligns the height and centering of left and right breast pairs.

Changes the slab thickness.

Cycles through MG quadrant views: Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q1, and so on.

Scroll to the next row of images.

Scroll to the last image.

Scroll to the first image.

Scroll to the next page.

Scroll to the previous page.

Scroll to the previous row of images.

Moves to the previous reading protocol step.

Moves to the next reading protocol step.

Moves to the first reading protocol step.

Changes to the previous series.

Changes to the next series.

Deletes the selected reading protocol you want to delete.

Note: You must have the reading delete privilege.

Moves the selection cursor down the reading protocol list.

Moves the selection cursor to the end of the reading protocol list.

Moves the selection cursor to the top of the reading protocol list.

Moves the selection cursor one page down in the reading protocol list.

Moves the selection cursor one page up in the reading protocol list.

Opens the export dialog box.

Exports the current image without opening the dialog box with the last used export options.

This option requires the Synapse Print component be installed. See Synapse Workstation.

Selects non-sequential multiple images. This shortcut should be performed in tile mode to ensure you can see the images being selected.

Switches between the 1-up format or a different value such as 6-up, 9-up, or 12-up.

Changes to a 1x1 format.

Scrolls down one row of tiles or scrolls to the next image (when the images are stacked in a 1-up tile format).

Select sequential images.

Displays the next comparison study or group of comparison studies.

Opens the Anywhere Series Picker for a specific study. See Using Anywhere Series Picker in the Viewer.

Opens the DICOM structure report and PDF viewer.

Toggles the Same Series Compare option on and off.

Note: When you open MG series with this keyboard shortcut, the layouts might have different scale markers due to Zoom to Breast Bounds differences.

Opens the report pane in the Viewer.

Hides or displays the Series Picker. See Hiding or Displaying the Series Picker.

Note: Do not use the numeric keypad for this number, because this key is already assigned to a preset.

Displays the previous comparison study or group of comparison studies.

Synapse does the following:

• Saves a Snapshot based on how you configured Snapshot in User Settings. See Configuring Image Display Settings .
• Refreshes the Viewer.
• Loads the Initial State.

Moves to the previous set of series in a study.

Moves to the next set of series in a study.

Returns the Viewer to your preferred size and position.

Displays the DICOM header information in a table for a selected image. See Viewing DICOM Header Information for an Image.

Cycles through the reference line options:

• None
• Single
• First and Last (default)

Use the 6 shortcut key to turn on all of the AI findings. Press the 6 key twice to turn off AI findings.

Use the 7 shortcut key on the keyboard to toggle through the AI findings within an image, one at a time.
