Performing Phased Measurements
Introduction
If an Analysis Configuration includes phase measurements, you can select a phase measurement from a drop-down list. Synapse groups all the measurements for a stage in a phase.
Phase measurement options depend on site implementation. See your System Administrator for more information.
Prerequisites
- Advanced Reporting (AR) is installed.
- You are launching the Protocols Panel from an AR study with a procedure configured with analysis configuration for phase measurements.

Steps
- From the Worklist page, select an AR study and double-click or select Open Viewer from the context menu.
- Click Protocols Panel
on the Viewer toolbar to open the Protocols Panel. - Choose the phase tab at the top of the Protocols Panel.
- Click a Protocol group in the Protocols Panel to display the protocol steps.
- Select a phase measurement option from the displayed list.
- Position the cursor in the image and draw the protocol measurement.
- Click the next phase tab on the Protocols Panel and add additional measurements.

Optional: If you have multiple instances of a measurement, you can choose a specific measurement with the Instance Selector
in the Protocols Panel. See Using Protocol Panel for Instance Selector options.
Results
Synapse displays the phase measurements at the bottom of the image and adds these measurements to the report, if the report is configured to display these measurements.
