R through T Context Menu Options

Introduction

Synapse provides the following list and icon menu options for menu items beginning with the letters R through T listed here in alphabetical order.

The Cine Response column in the following table describes how cine interacts with each of the context menu options when using cine on a multiframe viewport:

  • Apply: This option is applied during cine.
  • Disabled during cine: This option is disabled during cine.
  • Pause, apply, and resume: Cine pauses before applying this option. When complete, cine resumes playing.
  • Stop cine: This option stops cine.

Description

Cine Response

Spatial Tools: Displays the Spatial Tools submenu consisting of the following options:

Cycle Quadrant Mode

Cycles through MG quadrant views: Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4, Q1, and so on.

Keyboard shortcut: Q

Disabled during cine

Horizontal Flip

Changes the image orientation so the left side of the image flips to become the right side.

Pause, Apply, and Resume

Vertical Flip

Changes the image orientation so the top of the image flips to become the bottom of the image.

Justification - Center

Centers an image. See Changing Image Justification.

This option is only available for mammography studies which include MG, BT, CT, or FujiCR image types.

Justification -Left

Positions an image next to the left side of the viewport.

This option is only available for mammography studies which include MG, BT, CT, or FujiCR image types.

Justification - Right

Positions an image next to the right side of the viewport.

This option is only available for mammography studies which include MG, BT, CT, or FujiCR image types.

Magnifying Glass

Toggles the magnifying glass on or off. See Using the Magnifying Glass.

Stop cine

Rotate 180 degrees

Rotates an image 180 degrees clockwise. The top of the image rotates to the bottom.

Pause, Apply, and Resume

Rotate Clockwise 90

Rotates an image 90 degrees clockwise. The upper-left of the image is rotated so that it becomes the upper-right.

Pause, Apply, and Resume

Rotate Counter-clockwise 90

Rotates an image 90 degrees counter-clockwise. The upper-right part of the image rotates to the upper-left.

Shutter - Enable

Toggles the shutter on and off. See Using Shutter.

Shutter - Horizontal

Creates a horizontal shutter. See Using Shutter.

Shutter - Manual

Crops the outside areas of an image. See Using Shutter.

Shutter - without Zoom

Creates a shutter without zoom. See Using Shutter.

Zoom to 1X

Displays an image at its original resolution. See Changing the Zoom Factor.

Zoom Input

Opens a zoom input dialog box. See Using Zoom.

Zoom to Breast Bounds

Detects the breast bounds and enlarges the image so the breast tissue fills the displayable area in the viewport. Displayed in the active state.

Zoom to fit

Displays an entire image in the available space.

Zoom True Size

Displays the image at true size.

T Menu Items

Description

Cine Response

Tools: Displays the Tools submenu consisting of the following options:

Anonymize Text Overlay

Hides patient information in an image. See Displaying and Hiding Text Overlays.

Stop cine

Anonymize Burned Annotations

Hides part or all of an entire image. See Anonymizing Patient Information.

Apply

Apply to All Images

Applies the changes to all of the images in the selected series. See Selecting Images.

Disabled during cine

Apply to Selected Images

Applies the changes to only the selected images in a series. See Selecting Images.

Disabled during cine

Bookmark Image

Toggles the image bookmark flag on and off. See Creating and Manipulating Bookmarked Series.

DICOM Header

Displays the DICOM header information for a selected image in a table. See Viewing DICOM Header Information for an Image.

Keyboard shortcut: SHIFT + H

Lock Tools

When enabled, Synapse locks the selected image tool for repeated use across viewports. See Using the Lock Tools Option on Images.

Apply

Mask

Adds a mask annotation. See Anonymizing Patient Information.

Stop Cine

Reset Image State

Resets window level and other image settings to the original settings when the image was acquired. See Using Reset Image State.

Save Presentation State

Saves the presentation state for a study. See Saving Presentation State.
