Cycling Planes

In MPR view, you can cycle through the image planes in any of the tiles.

Cycling Planes in Orthogonal View

When the plane type is Orthogonal in Quadrant view, you can cycle through the oblique, axial, coronal, and sagittal image planes.

Cycling Planes in Oblique View

When the plane type is Oblique in Quadrant view, the overlay in the top-left corner of the tiles is different from orthogonal view. (The following supposes that the oblique view is in the bottom-left quadrant.)

  • The top-left tile name is Reconstruction 1 in yellow text.
  • The top-right tile name is Reconstruction 2 in blue text.
  • The bottom-left tile name is Reconstruction 3 in red text.
  • The bottom-right tile name is Reconstruction in white text.

The number of the reconstruction tile name (1, 2, or 3) displays near each orthogonal plane line, so you know which line corresponds to which tile.

Note:

  • Cycling through planes from the double oblique view displays the active tile in a 1-up format. From there, the cycle planes function displays the next tile in the quadrant view. For example, Reconstruction 1 > Reconstruction 2 > Reconstruction 3 > Oblique.
  • Selecting Coronal, Sagittal, or Axial changes the image direction of the tile to coronal, sagittal, or axial while staying in quadrant view.

Steps

  • Right-click the image and select MPR/3D > Cycle Planes or press / to cycle through the image planes.
