Modifying Study Information
Introduction
You can modify an existing study or add a new study in Content Manager without going to an external system, such as RIS scheduler.

Prerequisites
You must have the Content Management privilege to access this tool through SWAT. Synapse logs all changes.
Updating an Existing Study
Steps
- Double-click the All Patients list. Synapse displays the patient list.
- Double-click the patient
whose study you want to edit. Content Manager displays a list of studies associated with the patient.
- Select the study
you want to edit.
- Click Edit
. The Edit Study dialog box displays.
- Update the study information.
- Click Save.
Results
The updated study information is immediately updated and viewable in Synapse and Content Manager.
Adding a New Study
Steps
- Double-click the All Patients list. Synapse displays the patient list.
- Click Add
. The Add New Study dialog box displays.
- Add the study information.
- Click Save.
Results
The new study information is immediately updated and viewable in Synapse and Content Manager.
