Stent Overview
Introduction
You can add a stent either to a lesion or directly to the vessel segment. You can add a stent to a vessel diagram using the following options:
- Stent
tool. - Stent Graft
tool. - Prior Stent
tool. - In the Treatments tab of the Properties panel, add a stent to an existing lesion with the Add Treatments
option.
Treatment properties in the properties panel are site configurable. See your System Administrator for more information.
Imported Stent Information
The treatment data captured on a hemodynamic system can be imported into catheterization (Cath) and Invasive Peripheral Vascular (IPV) vessel diagrams. After this information is imported, Synapse updates the vessel diagram with the applicable information. If the imported data contains a stent treatment, Synapse adds a stent to the vessel diagram.
