Date / Time Field Updates for QBE Searches

All Date / Time search fields in the Worklist and PowerJacket now include the option to enter a single date, directly into the QBE search field.

Configuring Image Version Display in the Viewer

Sites now have the ability to configure the image version they want to use for studies. This feature provides the option for sites to determine the image version to use when rendering a study, based on the site's configuration settings. System Administrators can select from either of the following options to choose the best format for their site.

Original Only: When displaying studies, the viewer displays the Original version of the studies, regardless of where that original version is stored. If no Original version of the image is available, either locally or on the archive, Synapse uses the next best version of the study.

Locally stored Version: When displaying studies, the viewer displays the locally stored version of the studies, with a preference for the Original version.

• If the Original version is not available locally in Synapse, Synapse uses the locally-stored Clinical version.
• If neither version is available locally, Synapse retrieves the Original version from the archive.

Clinical Version: If this setting is enabled and study's status is complete, then clinical compressed images will display even if the study has original images. When the Clinical version of the image displays, the image text overlay reflects the compression that is applied to the image.

Additional Information

For DICOM Transfer to Media and Synapse XDS Consumer Viewer actions, Synapse always uses the Original version of images.

Add F9 (Skip Study) Workflow to All Folders Regardless of Status

You can use the F9 key or Skip Study button to close a study from the Worklist regardless of the study status.

Addition of "all images" and "Bookmarks" series to All Thumbnail view of Standalone PowerJacket, PowerJacket, and Worklist

You can view All Images or a Bookmarks thumbnail series from the Worklist and PowerJacket.

Rearranging Series Thumbnails at the Study level

If you have the Manage Series Order permission, you have the option to update the series order and rearrange series thumbnails to display them in a specific order. Changes are applied at the study level, so all users who view the study will see the thumbnails in the order you determine. In addition to displaying the series reorder in PowerJacket, Synapse applies the updated display to the Viewer and the Worklist Series Picker.

Configuration for Enhanced Display

The Enhanced Display option allows you to choose which studies are retrieved from a datasource that may be slow.

Resizable Series Picker in Worklist

You can change the size of a thumbnail to accommodate your screen size and the selected resolution.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are a way to select any unread Worklist or unread Global Worklist in order to pre-cache the images of up to 10 studies. Pre-caching images significantly reduces the wait time sometimes associated with the retrieval of archived images

New Search Fields

Search using newly supported fields to display non-DICOM patient level folders in the patient search list of filtered results.

New columns for AI Results Display

Synapse use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) provides the quick access to enhanced information and findings. To view AI results, you will need to add the following three columns to the Worklist and to PowerJacket.

• AI Status
• AI Score
• AI Findings

Worklist QBE Filter Persistence

A new Worklist Filter user setting was added to the Workflow section on the User Settings page. This setting allows you to automatically save filter values and apply them each time the Worklist displays.

Worklist Multiple Row QBE Filter

You can add or remove additional QBE search bar lines to allow for more customization of the Worklist search criterion.

PowerJacket Refresh Enhancement

Users will be unaware of the screen redraw that occurs in the PowerJacket study list grid when the contents update.

Structured Reports Tab

If it is supported for your site, Structured Reports is one of the options now available for you to select when determining your PowerJacket settings.

Resize Series Picker in PowerJacket

You can resize Series Picker in the Worklist and in PowerJacket, giving you the ability to modify your view of to a format that best meets your needs.

Print directly from PowerJacket

Print functionality is available within the PowerJacket panes, giving you the ability to print notes and reports without leaving PowerJacket. Use this option to preview contents and send it to the printer of your choice.

2D/Tomo Toggle Enhancements

These enhancements allow you to match 2D MG images with their related Tomo series.

AI Feedback collection

Synapse provides you with the ability to submit feedback about AI algorithm results using the AI Feedback form.

Batch Enable/Disable Reading Protocols

You can enable and disable the reading protocols that you create, as a way to manage which reading protocols are available in the drop-down list of the Viewer toolbar.

Configurable Viewport Level Icon for 3rd Party URL

Launch third party URLs in an iFrame within a viewport.

URL integrations are configured in SWAT.

DICOM Printing

The DICOM Print option was added to the Export/Print context menu. This option allows you can print DICOM images to a configured DICOM printer.

Display ALL GSPS Annotations

The Display All option is now included in the Presentation State context menu. This option allows you to see all of the GSPS annotations for a study at one time. When selected, an A displays in the Presentation State icon.

Dynamic Scroll User Settings Enhancement

Added the Dynamic Scroll 3 option with all of the available mouse settings.

Dynamic Scroll Improvement

Provides improvements to smooth scrolling using Dynamic Scroll methods (middle mouse wheel scrolling) with low mouse mileage and minimal skipping.

Dynamic Scroll Additional User Settings

An option that allows you to not skip images using Dynamic Scroll. In addition, the Dynamic Scroll user setting names were changed to better describe the type of scrolling each one performs:

• Dynamic Scroll-Rapid
• Dynamic Scroll-Standard
• Dynamic Scroll-Precision

Font/Icon Size User Settings

You can customize font and icon sizes for these areas of the Viewer:

• Text overlay
• Study List
• Viewer Toolbar

GSPS Annotation Display User Setting

Enables the initial display of 3rd party GSPS annotations when you open a study. By default, the GSPS Enable Annotations setting is on.

Viewer backward compatibility with Hybrid Mode 5.5.000

Synapse 5.7 provides backward compatibility with Synapse 5.5 Hybrid Mode.

Hybrid Mode User Setting

Enables Hybrid Mode on a per-user basis and persists Hybrid Mode to whatever machine the user logs into.

Next/Previous Comparison Study

A new option in the Viewer Toolbar allows you to open and display the next or previous comparison study or set of comparison studies, based on your defined auto-compare rules.

Report Window Enhancement

Display a report from a predefined URL instead of the default Synapse report location by using the Open Report option on the Viewer toolbar.

Your System Administrator can configure the Open Report icon with a predefined URL.

Series Picker Enhancement

The entire name of the series in a Series Picker thumbnail displays.

[S3D] RECIST feature on console mode

When you are in 3D console mode, you can select the RECIST option from the 3D sub menu to compare lesions from prior studies.
